This is a sturdy and durable T10 Folded and Clay Tempered Katana that has been thoroughly polished using the feather hadori polish process. It is an excellent piece that you can readily use for tameshigiri or practice cutting. this samurai Katana sword has been sharpened, making it a fully functional. Swords with a clay tempered hamon feature hardened edges along with a softer spine the hardened edge to retain the blades razor sharp edge and a soft spine to prevent the sword from breaking if hitting a very hard target or using a wrong technique.
This Handmade Katana features a full tang blade. The body of this samurai sword is well-built and aesthetically beautiful: with a strong and durable saya designed with metal and wooden leaves. This tsuka covered in white ray skin samegawa that is wrapped with beautiful black rayon silk. When purchasing this Katana sword, it also comes with a sword bag made from silk which is useful for carrying the weapon or when safeguarding this when not in use.
The Katana fittings are made of brass for its Menuki (the ornaments found on the handles wrap), and high-quality copper for its tsuba, fuchi and kashira.
