The folded steel also adds more artistic value to the sword and displayed as subtle hada (grain pattern) on the blade surface.
The blade has been further enhanced using the Hadori polish technique which is also known as the Keisho, the process is done by taking a stone called Hadori and whitening the hamon line by hand, which gives a beautiful and unique look for the blade.
This ninja sword the Tsuba and Menuki are both made of brass while the Fuchi and Kashira are made out of metal alloy. The Ninjato has a sparkle black hardwood saya with burgundy color Sageo that match perfectly with the Burgundy wrap on the ito that is covering the black ray skin Samegawa. Additionally, you will also have a silk sword bag for keeping the Ninjato when not in use, or when traveling with the sword.
