This Katana sword is fully functional and sharp, it is made from 1060 carbon steel that has been heat treated. The blade is full tang and features a single blood groove that runs along the sword blade and allow better balance by reduced weight and provides audible feedback when swung with proper edge alignment.
This Katana sword has a blade length of seventy-two centimeters while its width measures around 3.2 centimeters; the tsuka is adequate in size at twenty-seven centimeters which allows you to easily grip the weapon with both hands. All in all, this samurai sword has a total weight of 1.46 kilograms.
The fittings namely the menuki, tsuba, and fuchi of this Katana are all made from brass, and the kashira (pommel) is made out of metal. It also features a dark green saya that exhibits a gold inscription.
White ray skin samegawa covers the handle and wrapped with black rayon silk ito. Allowing for proper grip of the sword and comfort during training or practice cutting.
