This clay tempered Wakizashi is a light, fast, powerful cutter that is constructed from T10 steel. It is hand Forged from a select grade of the purest T10 steel. It is full tang, double pegged and exhibits one of the most appealing Hamon temper lines that is authentic and distinct as a result of traditional Clay Tempering Processes.
The blade of the wakizashi sword has been constructed from differentially hardened T10 with a wave hamon. The blade is full tang secured by two bamboo mekugi pegs. The handle wrap is authentic brown leather which brings extra comfort and durability.
The saya has been constructed from high quality rosewood.
The balance of the blade is perfect and the sword is completely functional. It can be used for drills, practice or test cutting (Tamashigiri).
