Tachi Sword

This is the 40″ T10 Deferentially Clay Hardened Tachi Samurai Sword It is a functional forged T10 steel sword that is differentially hardened with a real hamon.
The Tachi sword has been the model of sword the Katana based on and develop from, it was used by the samurai class in Japan, unlike the Katana, the Tachi was worn on the left waist with the cutting edge down.
The habaki is made of yellow brass and the fittings are made with metal alloy in a powder coated metal matte finish. The blade is fully sharpened and capable of Tamashigiri (target cutting). It can cut down medium target objects such as bamboo, tatami mats.
The saya scabbard and handle are made with ebony wood and a metal alloy layer over that with two belt attachment points and a ishime fold and bronze colored finish with carved figures along the length of the scabbard. This sword comes with a sword bag. Sword stand sold separately.
