Shirasaya Ninjato

This gorgeous Shirasaya Ninjato is very carefully hand forged using 1095 Folded Steel and Purple Acid Dye.
The Shirasaya is full tang, which is held in place beneath the tsuka (handle) by two bamboo mekugi pins (double pegged) for extra security.
Exactly what makes this Shirasaya light-weight, quick, and simple to wield is the presence of a Bohi.
1095 carbon steel is corrosion & oxidation resistant. Its hardness and durability allow for swords to keep their edge sharp.
A large number of folds are carried out to the 1095 Folded Steel giving you several layers of steel. The process generates gorgeous Hada or grain patterns, enhancing the aesthetic value of your Shirasaya.
To have a more stylish Shirasaya, adding a Purple Acid Dye color to its blade is perfect for aesthetic improvement.

1095 Folded Steel Shirasaya

A classic Shirasaya usually includes a featureless exterior, save for the needed mekugi-ana. This part of the Shirasaya is crucial to protect the Tang (Nakago).
The Shirasaya Ninjato’s Blade length is 72 cm, while the handle (Tsuka) is 25 cm. The Shirasaya Ninjato blade width is 3.2 cm, and the overall weight is 1.35KG.
The Shirasaya’s Rosewood Saya With Buffalo Horn fittings helps protect the blade when is not utilized.
If you’d like to have your Shirasaya blade’s sharpness fine-tuned, there’s an option given in the checkout to help you pick your required sharpness level.
You may also use our free sword engraving service to add the individualized touch that you seek on your sword. From logo to symbol, initials, complete name or anything that comes to your mind, we will engrave it on the blade.
When thinking of ideas to give as a present to anyone who is very special, a Shirasaya is certainly a once in a lifetime terrific gift to present.
