You are looking at a full tang T10 clay tempered Ninjato sword that is sharp and fully functional. The sword steel has carbon content of 1% and its blade has a shiny surface after being mirror polished.
A great aspect of this Ninjato is the presence of a bo-hi (sometimes referred to as the fuller or blood groove) which is a rounded or beveled slot on this blades flattened side. It extends down the sword blade and helps make the Ninjato lighter to handle;
This Ninjato sword handle is covered with white ray skin samegawa that is wound with a black silk wrap; this is to protect the tsuka while also providing more comfort when gripping the sword with one or both hands.
Its fittings menuki, fuchi , kashira and tsuba, are all made from brass. This Ninjato blade is a simple yet elegant piece, and its saya with a golden dragon adds more style and beauty to the sword stylish look. The sword comes with a silk sword bag.
