This Katana is full tang and fully sharpened made from 1060 folded carbon steel. The steel has been folded multiple times which creates thousands of layers and result in astounding grain pattern on the blade surface.
This Katana features a bo-hi which runs down the length of its blade. The bo-hi (which is also referred to as the blood groove or fuller) helps the sword to be quicker and lighter to wield because of the reduced weight, the blade is perfectly balanced and provides audible feedback when swung.
The fittings of this samurai Katana (Fuchi, Kashira and Tsuba) are made from high-quality copper and feature Dragon themed design, while the menuki adorning the handle is made from brass and also feature a Dragon from both sides.
Overlapping the handle is a black leather ito in battle wrap style (Katate-Maki) covering green ray skin Samegawa that compliments with the full green ray skin saya with buffalo horn tips. a silk sword bag is also included upon purchase of this samurai blade.
