Hand forged Katana
This is a full tang samurai Katana that is made from 9260 Spring Steel. This type of steel is a modern steel used to make springs, which make it easily bend, flex, and revert back to its original form. 9260 Spring Steel allows this samurai katana to have high shock absorption while having an excellent compromise between flexibility and hardness.
The blade of this Katana has been thoroughly sharpened, making it a fully functional samurai sword that can be used for practice and training along with test cutting. It features a single bo-hi that runs down on the blade and it functions by making the piece more lightweight and therefore, quicker and easier to wield.
This samurai sword is not only durable but is also an elegant and beautiful piece, its saya is black and red and has an eye-catching phoenix inscription on it, with black rayon silk sageo cord.
The tsuka is covered with red ray skin samegawa that goes perfectly with the synthetic silver leather ito that is bound to it in Tsumami-Maki style (Traditional wrap); to add more beauty to it, a brass square dragon Tsuba is also present which makes the tsuka even more appealing. The other samurai Katana fittings (menuki and fuchi) are made of brass and the kashira is made of metal.
The Katana has a blade length of seventy-two centimeters and handle that measures about twenty-seven centimeters which is adequate enough to accommodate two hands when gripping the sword.
