This is a battle ready Katana made from T10 folded steel. It has gone through the process of Hadori polish and clay tempering. These add more beauty and efficiency to the Samurai sword.

Tough and Resistant Blade for Cutting Practice

T10 steel that this Katana uses is also known as Tool Steel. Its Chinese designation is High Speed Steel which is for an alloy made of Tungsten and Carbon.

The steel has a high tenor of carbon unlike other types. Its Tungsten content makes the T10 steel more resistant to scratches. This is also very tough steel which makes it suitable for swords.

Folded and Clay Tempered

Since the steel of this sword has undergone the folding process, it produces subtle Hada. These are grains on the surface of the blade that enhances the sword’s artistic value, you can read more about the steel types and processes in this link.

It has a clay tempered edge so the Katana can retain a razor sharp edge. Its spine is left soft so it can bend when in use. This is done via the classic clay coating tempering method.

Beautiful & Easy to Wield

This is a sword that is not only durable, but visually appealing as well. Its blade goes through polishing to enhance the Hamon.

For wielding, this Katana is easy to use due to the presence of the double Bohi. It is a rounded slot that runs down the length of the blade, and it keeps the sword lighter and easier to wield.

The sword is a full tang, making it a practical piece with comfortable dimensions. It is also fully sharpened, so this Katana is a functional blade that you can use in an instant. The blade can stand up to a certain level of abuse and keep a sharp edge for longer use

Katana Fittings, and Accessories

All fittings on this Katana are pieces made from HQ copper. These fittings include the Tsuba, Menuki, Fuchi, and Kashira.

The Menuki are decorations under the Tsuka Ito. Other adorning pieces are the Fuchi & Kashira located on the extremities of the Tsuka. For the Tsuba, it properly weighs and counter-balances the blade. the sword handguard has been used all the way back from the earliest swords in history.

This Katana features a black Ito wrapped over a red Samegawa. These two elements are both aesthetic and functional for the sword.

The Ito or Tsuka Ito reinforces the Tsuka, preventing any issues when using the sword. The Samegawa wraps the Tsuka, protecting this and keeping your hands from sweating.

The Katana comes with a stunning Saya (QS54 in the custom Katana page) mixed with red and black paint with buffalo horn. The Saya simply refers to the Katana scabbard. It is generally made from materials like wood coated in lacquer.

Lastly, a silk sword bag is included for convenience. You can use this for carrying the sword around with ease.

Sword Measurements
