Battle Ready Katana Sword

This is a T10 Clay tempered steel Samurai Katana that has been acid dyed in blue. It is ideal for use in tameshigiri (bamboo/mat cutting), as well as for training and practice. The T10 steel, also called High Speed Steel, is a superb material when it comes to making samurai swords, The steel is clay tempered and feature wavy hamon.
The tungsten component present in the T10 steel makes it very resistant to scratches. It is also extremely durable. The said qualities are maximized when properly clay tempered. The differential hardening process gives the Katana its hamon line with a very hard edge and soft spine.
The blue acid dye treatment is a natural color dyeing method, giving the blade a remarkable look for those who want a touch of uniqueness on their sword. This coloring method doesn’t affect the sword quality or performance. This Katana with a T10 blue acid dye, has a blade length of 72 centimeters, a handle length of 27 centimeters, and blade width of 3.2 centimeters.
The Katana comes fully sharpened and also features a bohi which helps lighten it. The tsube is made of iron, and the rest of the Katana fittings – the fuchi, kashira, and menuki, are all made of metal alloy. The sword is full tang and it comes with a classic black lacquered saya, a black rayon silk ito wrap , and a white ray skin samegawa.
