This is the Handmade Folded Steel Tanto Blade Forged with 1095 Folded Steel.
The blade of the Tanto is full tang, held by two small bamboo pegs called Mekugi.
The Tanto blade is well-balanced by the fuller (Bo-hi) which runs over the entire length of the blade and makes it simpler to use for Kenjutsu & Tameshigiri.
1095 steel is oxidation & rust resistant. Its firmness and strength allow for swords to retain their edge very sharp.
The 1095 Folded Steel is folded plenty of times, resulting in a number of layers that bring about one-of-a-kind Hada grain patterns on the Tanto’s blade.
