Wakizashi Sword
A Wakizashi is a very significant sword for both the sword maker and the sword collector as it carries a remarkable legacy in it. In feudal Japan, only the official samurai can wear the Wakizashi and Katana together, this was considered as Daisho. And this has been used since the early 15th or 16th century as a backup sword and it is a privilege for the samurai warriors to wear this on their left side. Wazikashi is with the samurai since the beginning: when he sleeps, it is under his pillow and even until the day he dies, making it a symbol of honor and discipline.
