Tanto Knife
This Japanese Tanto resembles a Chinese Broad sword due to its dao shape blade used in most modern Chinese broad swords. It features a combination of tsuba and habaki like guard where two are combined together. All fittings are handmade and show detailed scroll work.
A masterful demonstration of hand craft silks. The blade itself is of 1095 carbon steel folded 13 times. ItÂ’s sharp and able to cut down things like paper, small sized tree branches or bamboo. Call it a compact size battle ready weapon.
The scabbard and grip are of ebony wood (a high quality type of wood used in home furniture). The sword comes in a silk gift box and a silk-embroidered sword bag.
