This full tang Tanto has been created for better and increased cutting power, it is sharp andis fully functional. The Tanto is made of 1095 folded steel which has a carbon content of 0.95%; it also provides an edge with a certain HRC hardness of about sixty-two. This samurai sword features delicate hada that appears on the blades surface due to the process of folding the steel.
The Tanto has a Bohi (sometimes referred to as blood groove or blood gutter) and this helps make the blade lighter and easier to wield; plus, the bohi also adds more speed and agility to the weapon, making it easier to handle.
