The Shirasaya blade is made from 1060 Carbon Steel that have been heat treated, it is great sword for slicing through soft objects or medium targets.
The sword comes sharp, and you will have a fully functional blade that can withstand the challenges of training in the dojo or practice cutting in the backyard; additionally, it also features a bohi that makes the blade lighter and easier to wield.
