Samurai Sword Set
This set consist of a Katana, Wakizashi and Tanto. All are sharpened, fully functional samurai swords that are made from 1060 carbon steel; the 1060 steel has a carbon content of 0.60% and can be found in most entry-level samurai swords.
This samurai sword set features full tang swords making them solid piece of sharp steel. The set of these samurai swords features sparkle black hardwood saya with ebrass fitting. Additionally,it includes our free rayon silk sword bags.
The samurai swords included in this set all feature a bo-hi that run down the length of each of these blades. The bo-hi functions by making the blade more lightweight, which results in a quick, swift, and easier to wield sword. Additionally, the fuller also helps alter the bladesÂ’ balance point while simultaneously ensuring that each of these also have proper edge alignment.
The samurai sword set features pieces with varying blade lengths: seventy centimeters for the Katana, fifty centimeters for the Wakizashi, and thirty centimeters for the Tanto; the width of all of these swords measure at 3.2 centimeters. The tsuka of the blades also vary in size: twenty-five centimeters for the Katana, twenty centimeters for the Wakizashi, and fifteen centimeters for the Tanto. For the weight of these pieces, they vary accordingly: the Katana weighs at 1.35 kilograms, the Wakizashi at 1.2 kilograms, and the Tanto weighing only 0.8 kilograms.
