Japanese Katana

Available for purchase, T10 Clay Tempered Steel with Black Acid Dye and Hadori Polish Handmade Japanese Katana.
The sword is full tang, which means that the blade extends right through the sword handle.
The blade comes with Bohi (also known as blood groove or fuller), which decreases the weight of the sword without affecting its sturdiness. The result is a less heavy and well-balanced sword that can be used for Kenjutsu, Tameshigiri and laido effortlessly.
T10 steel is the material that many swordsmiths choose when making Japanese swords and considered as one of the most efficient in it’s price range.
Clay tempering is considered as an art form. So, a clay tempered Katana is more durable and resistant.
To have a more eye-catching Katana, adding up a Black Acid Dye color to its blade is perfect for visual improvement.

T10 Clay Tempered Steel Katana

The Japanese Katana is really a complex yet finely-made sword which has gone through the classic process of forging.
A Katana comes with a precise measurement. Its blade is 3.2 cm wide, 72 cm long, has got a Tsuka (handle) that is 27 cm in length, & weighs 1.5KG.
The Tsuka helps in maximizing the strength of the Japanese Katana.
To help keep the Katana in good shape and also safe when not being used, a Black Engraved Dragon Saya (scabbard) is supplied. The Saya is created to the perfect shape of the blade to help perform laido, which is all about taking the sword and striking in just one movement.
What improves the beauty of a traditional Katana are its quality-made Tosogu (fittings). These are the Tsuba which is the hand-guard, the Menuki, and also the Kashira & Fuchi or its pommel & hilt-collar.
Hamon, the most visible appearance of the sword, has been polished using the Hadori polish method making it more noticeable and enhanced.
The Katana is usually characterized by a very sharp blade. However, if you wanted it non sharp or to make it ultra sharp, then there is an option to pick out your preferred level of sharpness.
In order to further personalize the sword, you could select our free engraving on the blade. This can be anything you would like to make your sword personal and one-of-a-kind.
If you are considering it as Gift for your friend, family member or even yourself, a Katana is among the top choices when you’re thinking of something special and heart-felt.
