The Chinese Jian is also great for cutting practice or training since it is fully sharpened and is a full tang piece.

Dimensions and Accessories

The blade of this Chinese Jian is 73 centimeters long and 3.2 centimeters wide. Its handle is adequately sized at 33 centimeters. Its overall weight is 1.95 kilograms.

The traditional single handed versions of the Chinese Jian had blades that measured up to 45 to 80 centimeters long. Its average weight was around 1.5 – 2 pounds. This was for a Chinese blade that measured about 70 centimeters in total.
