This custom size Samurai Katana has a blade made of T10 folded clay tempered steel – Kiriha Zukuri Kissaki. It is also Hadori polished and fully sharpened, making it a fully functional blade. This Katana can be ready for cutting practice and training. it can also withstand the rigors and challenges in the Dojo.
Katana Steel & Measurements
This Katana blade of T10 folded clay tempered steel. contains around 1% carbon and is great for use during target cutting. It can slice through different targets like tree branches, Tatami mats, and more.
Because of its functional blade and type of steel, this Katana is made to withstand extensive Tameshigiri. Since the steel has been folded, the appearance of traditional Hada or grain patterns appear on this Katanas surface.
Many collectors prefer the folded steel since it is based on the old master techniques and displays as a classic Hada that appears on its blades surface.
